Modifications for child: Use single strand, I hook, ribbing:16sc, hat:72hdc (work 73 rows of ribbing [or to size] instead of 66. This #, minus 1, will be the # of sc on the last row of ribbing & the first row of the hat)
This is my son's favorite. It really keeps him warm.
